ABU and the Vanquished Marques

Other Competing Swedish Fishing Reels:
The Vanquished, the Conquered but not forgotten.
Arjon, Nordic, Victory, Rainbow, Craftsman, Sportsman, Pebco (licenced ABU product) Cadillac (a blantant copy of the Record 1300 ) and the ever so beautiful Malte Blohm produced many excellent reels and were all very strong contenders for the crown of superior fishing company in Sweden. There are more for me to discover yet I'm sure. For a multitude of reasons, outlined on other pages here, I believe A.B.Urfabriken prevailed over these other contenders. It is my intention to collect just one example of each different Swedish company product. I have a Victory and a Comet so far, if you can help another brand to be featured (and acknowledged here) please contact me.
My good friend Rikk, whom I believe has the finest non ABU/Record Antique fishing reel website in the world, has provided me with some beautiful images of some of these other reel company products. more to follow I hope.
